Smart AC control for ducted and split systems
Cool rooms before you arrive, stop cooling empty rooms and set comfortable sleep schedules. How we control your AC depends on what you have: a wall thermostat for ducted or central zones, or an infrared controller for wall split units.
What you get
- Pre-cool the home on the way back from work.
- Schedules per room or zone.
- Turn everything off from one place when you leave.
- See and adjust temperature from your phone.
Is it right for your home?
Good fit
- Ducted villa zones with standard wall thermostats
- Split units with an infrared remote
- Homes wanting AC included in scenes
Worth considering
- District cooling and building-managed systems may restrict changes
- Some thermostats use proprietary wiring
- IR control can't always confirm the unit's actual state
How installation works
- 01
Plan
Use the instant estimate, then email us your plan. We reply with questions and arrange a site visit.
- 02
Survey
We check wiring, devices and compatibility on site. We identify your AC system, thermostat wiring and any building restrictions.
- 03
Design & quote
You receive a written proposal with confirmed devices, prices and what is excluded.
- 04
Install & configure
We install, set up scenes and schedules, and test every circuit, zone or track.
- 05
Handover
We walk you through the app and wall controls and leave a simple summary of your setup.
Included
- Smart thermostat or IR controller per zone/unit
- Installation and app setup
- Schedules and scenes
- Testing and handover
Not included
- AC servicing, repairs or new AC equipment
- Building management system changes
- Approvals from building or district cooling providers
Compatibility
- AC compatibility must be verified before purchase; thermostat and IR controls work differently.
- If you choose “not sure” in the estimator, we price a wide range and flag a survey.
- KNX AC integration depends on available interfaces for your AC system.
Questions
Will a smart thermostat work with my AC?
Often, but not always. Ducted and fan-coil systems vary, and some buildings restrict thermostat changes. We verify on survey before recommending a device.
What is an IR controller?
A small device that sends the same signals as your split unit's remote, so the app can control it.
I don't know my AC type. Can I still estimate?
Yes. Choose “AC type not sure” and the estimate shows a wider range with a survey flag.
